Definitions

- Monte Pino: The holiday accommodation rental company

- Tenant: The person who rents accommodation at Monte Pino

- Stay: The agreed rental period of the accommodation/studio

- Accommodation/studio: The holiday home rented out by Monte Pino


Applicability

These general terms and conditions apply to all bookings and stays at Monte Pino.

By making a booking, the renter confirms that he or she understands and agrees to these conditions.


Reservation & Payment

A reservation is final once confirmation has been received and the deposit has been paid.

The deposit is 30% of the total rental amount and must be paid immediately after booking.

The remaining amount must be paid no later than 30 days before arrival. For bookings within 30 days before arrival we request the full payment immediately. Payments are made via payment methods offered by Monte Pino.


Cancellation & Changes

By tenant:

In case of cancellation the tenant pays a fee to Monte Pino:

Cancellations more than 3 months before the start date: full refund.

Cancellations within 3 to 2 months before the start date: 30% of the agreed price.

Cancellations within two to one month before the start date: 50% of the agreed price.

In case of cancellations within one month before the start date: 90% of the agreed price.

By Monte Pino:

If Monte Pino has to cancel the booking due to unforeseen circumstances, the full rental amount will be refunded. We will do our best to offer an alternative, but are not responsible for further compensation.


Arrival & Departure

You are welcome to check in from 4:00 PM on the day of arrival.

We kindly request that you check out no later than 10:00 am on the day of departure.


House rules

To ensure everyone has a pleasant stay, we ask you to observe the following house rules:

- Smoking is not allowed in the accommodations.

- Pets are not allowed in the accommodations.

- Take rest times into account and ensure that the neighbourhood does not experience any nuisance.

- Any damage to the accommodation or inventory must be reported immediately.

We trust that tenants will handle the accommodation with care.


Deposit & Damages

Monte Pino may ask for a deposit, which is paid at the start of the stay. The deposit will be refunded within 2 days after departure, provided that no damage or additional cleaning costs have been found. In case of damage or violation of the house rules, additional costs may be charged.


Liability

Monte Pino is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings. Tenants stay at the accommodation at their own risk. Monte Pino cannot be held liable for accidents, injuries or medical expenses during the stay. Monte Pino is not responsible for situations beyond our control, such as extreme weather conditions or government measures.


Complaints & Disputes

We want your stay to be as pleasant as possible. If you encounter any problems, please let us know immediately so we can find a solution. If the dispute cannot be resolved amicably, the court of Pesaro (Italy) will have jurisdiction to decide on this.
